Causes of Irregular Periods
Irregularperiods are not always a sign of health issues. During a normal menstrual period, an egg is released from the ovaries and that period is termed as ovulation. When the egg is not fertilized by the sperm then change in the hormone levels triggers the body to shed the blood along with the tissue that lines the uterus. This process of shedding the blood typically lasts for nearly five days and then the cycle repeats. But in some women there is abnormal uterine bleeding which can also be termed as irregular periods. The main reasons for the onset of such condition could be stress or lifestyle changes that may lead to serious medical conditions.
